Thriller

A few weeks ago I bought tickets for my husband and I to go see the play thriller at Kingsbury Hall down in Salt Lake. We were able to go with my friend Nikki and her husband Denton (we were so sad Josh and Capri could not make it! Although Casey and Denton said you didn't miss anything! Us girls will just go next time!) We went to dinner at Red Robing first which was really good! I had not been there in forever! Then we went down to the show! For those of you that know me I am the biggest chicken! I do not like scary things! Casey made me mad when we got there because he made me believe it was going to be really scary! ( I am stupid becuase I totally forgot he didn't even know anything about it!) When we first got seated there the zombies that were in the play were walking around all freaky like! They would get right in your face and I mean right in your face and just stare at you! I wish I had pictures just so you know how close they were! They play had some really good parts in it and also had it share of stupid parts too. Overall I am glad I went but I don't think it's one I would go to again!

Finally something good happens to me!!

Today I am posting about two of my latest accomplishments! About 3-4 months ago I recieved a letter in the mail saying I was nominated for Leasing Agent of the year from the Utah Apartment Association. Part of the process is I had to go down to Salt Lake and interview with a panel of judges. It made me very nervous!! About a week or so I received a certificate in the mail saying I was one of the finalsit!! It was awesome I was so excited! This is something I could put on my resumes. With being a finalist I was invited to the awards dinner down at Little America Hotel. It was a really nice dinner ($50.00 a plate!) I was totally not expecting to win at all I was just happy to get as far as I did. Well it came down to my category. "And the winner for the 2010 Leasing Agent of the year goes to...Michelle Gallegos! I WAS SO SHOCKED!! I didn't even know what to do! I had to go up in front of all these people accept the award then get my picture taken! It was scary! Following my category was Manager of the year! And another good news MY MANAGER WON!! She totally deserved it out of everyone and I was so happy she won! If it was not for her I would not be where I am today! I owe so much to her! I love you Nikki! Our company also won two other awards which was awesome! It was such a great night!!
My other good news is about a week or so ago I interviewed for the Assistant Manager job at my work. About two days later they called me a told me they were promoting me to Assistant Manager! I was so excited!! I love my job!! This has been such a big accomplishment for me. I started out not knowing ANYTHING about the apartment industry. I was so nervous to talk to people or do anything. If it was not for my wonderful manager who took me under her wing and taught me how to do my job and to go up and above it I would not be where I am today!! I am so blessed to have my job right now and to work with people I have grown to love so much!! Thank you to all of you have supported me! It means the world to me!

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

Casey and I celebrated our three year anniversary on October 5th! I can't believe how fast time goes by! It really feels like yesterday we were getting married! We both had to work on our anniversary so Casey sent me flowers at work which were beautiful!! They were my favorie flower GERBER DAISES! After we got off work we went down to Salt Lake and ate at the Roof. It's been our tradition to eat there. We have eaten there every anniversary! I have told my husband ever since we got my wedding ring that I wanted my third band on our third anniversary to complete my set. Well after he totally made me believe that I was not getting it! He suprised me at the Roof and gave me my third band!! I was so excited I started crying!! Casey is the most thoughtful sweetest husband! He is the best at suprises! He plans out months in advance on how he is going to suprise me! I ruin (on accident) his suprises a lot so when he does get to suprise me it makes him happy! I love you Case with all my heart! We have had our ups and downs but in the end you are always there for me! you are my best friend and the love of my life! Thank you for always being there for me!!
